Apple Services powers some of the world's most beloved digital experiences, from the App Store and Apple Music to Apple TV+ and beyond. Our Media Domain Platforms team builds the platforms, systems, components, and tools that engineering teams across the Services organization depend on every day. We solve real-world, at-scale challenges, supporting diverse, cross-functional web products with heterogeneous tech stacks, while ensuring a consistently high-quality, cohesive user experience. We're looking for a senior web front-end engineer who will be a hands-on contributor and a technical leader in the evolution of our component libraries and design system implementations. You should be comfortable building software for other engineers, partnering closely with design to shape system direction, and driving adoption of best practices across a wide range of engineering teams. An ideal candidate has a passion for platforms, a strong design sensibility, and the technical depth and communication skills to influence how the broader org builds for the web. DESCRIPTION Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing directly to the development and maintenance of shared component libraries and design system implementations used across the Services organization. You will work closely with design partners to anticipate evolving needs and translate design system direction into scalable, well-documented technical solutions. You will play an active role in defining component APIs, establishing front-end best practices, and advocating for design system adoption across a diverse set of engineering teams. Additional responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support to engineering partners, participating in architecture and UX design discussions, and maintaining software quality through code reviews, bug fixes, and security improvements.
