About The Position

The Senior Vice President of Sales for Financial Services at Salesforce is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving growth and managing a high-performing sales organization. This position focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to enhance customer acquisition and revenue generation within the Financial Services Business Unit. The SVP will lead a team of Area Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and Account Executives, ensuring the implementation of structured systems and processes to achieve sales targets and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in software and/or applications sales, ideally in a CRM or ERP environment.
  • 3rd or 4th line leadership experience in strategic sales on a national or global scale.
  • Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing enterprise sales organization.
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to drive transformational change across a large organization.
  • Excellent operational and analytical abilities.
  • Dynamic sales execution mindset with a passion for a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience selling cloud-based enterprise applications is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute Salesforce's Financial Services sales strategy.
  • Lead and manage a growing sales organization including Area Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and Account Executives.
  • Develop and implement a customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue and bookings.
  • Maintain key customer relationships and expand the company's customer base within the Financial Services industry.
  • Drive accountability against sales quotas and develop motivating incentive tools.
  • Act as a strategic thought leader and advisor to the EVP & Chief Revenue Officer, Financial Services.
  • Collaborate with other executives to establish strong partnerships for continued success.
  • Manage the overall sales process and set metrics for sales funnel management.
