About The Position

The SVP, Regional Executive, Community Banking at Bank OZK is responsible for leading and developing Banking Center leaders and their teams to ensure high performance and alignment with the bank's vision and goals. This role involves fostering relationships with various departments, executing business strategies, and ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction while driving business growth in the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience required.
  • 5+ years of business development and retail leadership experience, preferably leading 5-7 retail banking branches.
  • Proven achievement of business growth goals and financial targets.
  • Experience managing, leading, and coaching professionals required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank products/services and regulations preferred.
  • NMLS eligibility required; NMLS license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a passion for delivering excellence and creating a high performing, diverse team.
  • Engage regularly with team members to monitor performance and coach Banking Center Managers.
  • Execute the Bank's strategies and tactics for the region.
  • Ensure business growth that meets the Bank's standards for quality and profitability.
  • Support team members' client negotiations based on banking fundamentals and Bank OZK's strategies.
  • Lead, coach, monitor, and develop the team to execute against business development goals.
  • Address team member development and performance matters in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Demonstrate accountability for business development-related key performance indicators and goals.
  • Collaborate with operational partners to uphold corporate operational standards.
  • Coordinate synergies between multiple banking centers and line of business partners.
  • Anticipate and respond to high pressure situations and changes in the banking environment.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive activity.
  • Ensure engagement in community activities to promote business development and recruitment efforts.
  • Identify, recruit, hire, and retain excellent talent for the team.
  • Display integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Follow Bank policies and procedures to protect clients, employees, and bank assets.
