The SVP, Real-Time Settlement (RTS) at Optum is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing strategic and commercial plans aimed at achieving above-market growth through the innovative Real-Time Settlement solution. This multi-payer provider-facing solution is designed to provide same-day liquidity to healthcare providers, thereby reducing administrative expenses associated with revenue cycle management. The RTS initiative encompasses a range of modular components, including claim generation and clearing, which collectively deliver significant value to customers. In this role, the SVP will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring the successful deployment of new and disruptive RTS products in the marketplace. This includes direct accountability for the profitable growth of the RTS portfolio and collaboration with both internal and external partners to meet customer commitments. The SVP will act as a liaison across various business segments, aligning efforts with Optum and UnitedHealth Group (UHG) to validate business cases and return on investment at the Optum Insight level. The SVP will also be responsible for driving financial management and operationalization across the portfolio of new products, with indirect accountability for client satisfaction and cost delivery through matrixed operations and automation teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation, adept at creating new markets, and skilled in navigating a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong executive presence with C-Suite executives.
