About The Position

The Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations (SVP I&O) is a strategic technology executive responsible for leading the global IT infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and technology operations that power the organization’s business. This role provides vision, leadership, and execution for building a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure environment while ensuring operational excellence, service availability, and continuous improvement. The SVP I&O partners with business leaders, technology peers, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that enable growth, enhance efficiency, and strengthen resilience.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with deep expertise in infrastructure, operations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale global infrastructure environments across hybrid cloud, networking, storage, and compute.
  • Strong background in service management (ITIL, COBIT) and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated success driving digital transformation and innovation initiatives at scale.
  • Experience collaborating with cybersecurity, application development, and data/AI teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across C-suite and board-level audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA/MS) strongly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS/Azure, PMP, TOGAF) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global infrastructure and operations strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive modernization of infrastructure platforms, cloud adoption, and automation to enhance agility and scalability.
  • Provide executive leadership on enterprise technology investments and lifecycle planning.
  • Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including data centers, cloud environments, networks, storage, servers, end-user computing, and service desk.
  • Establish best-in-class service delivery models (e.g., ITIL) with measurable SLAs and KPIs.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
  • Lead the office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure.
  • Manage risk across infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, data protection, and governance.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives leveraging automation, AI/ML, observability, and emerging technologies.
  • Promote DevOps/SRE practices to enhance collaboration and accelerate delivery.
  • Continuously assess and optimize the infrastructure portfolio for cost, performance, and innovation.
  • Lead and develop a global Infrastructure & Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Build organizational capabilities through talent development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the technology organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, business unit heads, and technology peers.
  • Translate complex technical issues into business-oriented strategies and outcomes.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, including contract negotiations and performance management.
