Our healthcare business is comprised of two synergistic agencies – MMC Health & Well-being and RXMosaic: MMC’s Health & Well-being practice leverages unique and ownable cultural insights for healthcare brands and companies. RXMOSAIC sparks cultural conversations around science that have lasting impact on complex diseases. THE ROLE: As a Senior Vice President at MMC, you will play an essential role in leading strategic direction and growth of key healthcare accounts across diverse therapeutic areas for global pharmaceutical companies. This role combines senior-level client counsel, high-performing team leadership, and cross-functional program orchestration across complex, integrated initiatives. In this role, you will be challenged to navigate data/regulatory milestones, create innovative branded and unbranded campaigns across multiple stakeholders, and launch surround-sound strategies that seamlessly integrate earned/paid media, HCP/patient/advocacy/influencer engagement, social/digital ecosystems, talent and partnerships, and issues management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of brand HWB management
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to lead and manage integrated marketing work teams
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing and communications
  • Understanding of FDA rules and regulations and ability to lead high-science accounts
  • Proven track record in client service, strategy development and execution, creativity, new business pitches/presentations
  • Creative, entrepreneurial drive; ability to plan strategically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills
  • Galvanizing presence, ability to manage diverse personalities, and strong client relationship skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Ability to generate revenue producing initiatives, new business and organic growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of creative and strategic plans for servicing clients, growing existing client business, and ensuring that all program objectives are understood and executed
  • Proactively contribute ideas internally and with clients throughout the programming process and in client presentations
  • Drive team excellence and lead high-performing integrated team across workstreams
  • Lead program development and play a key role in client presentation meetings
  • Approve key client reports, appropriate correspondence, and press materials
  • Counsel clients on strategic direction of programs/accounts
  • Manage account budgets and conduct client budget conversations for brands you manage
  • With support of Project Management, assign team target hours for billability and profitability, effectively managing programs and ensuring efficiency
  • Continually seek to evolve your knowledge of your specialty, client’s business and competitors, vertical industry, media landscape, emerging trends in consumer behavior and the strategic application of data, AI, and emerging technologies in healthcare marketing and program delivery

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is ($154,000-$230,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
