About The Position

Five Iron Golf (5i) is the country's biggest indoor golf company with 40 locations across the globe and many more on the way. 5i is not your traditional country club. We aspire to establish a casual, relaxed environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. We are a fun and growing company with an urban vibe. We offer indoor golf simulation, lessons, golf fittings, events, and food and beverage service. Five Iron Golf is launching Five Iron At Home (new brand to be created later)—a standalone simulator installation and services business delivering premium, design-forward simulator builds for high-end residential, hospitality, fitness, corporate, and multifamily clients. This role is a SVP/GM-level operator with full P&L ownership who will build, launch, and scale this new business while also leading and standardizing Five Iron’s internal simulator installation engine supporting: Five Iron corporate location builds Franchise location builds The new external installation/services business (Brand TBD) This is not a maintenance role. This is a founder-mindset GM role responsible for strategy, org build, execution, and results—operating as part of the core Five Iron leadership team. You’ll operate cross-functionally across Development, Construction, Ops, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Franchise to build the installation engine and scale the new business. Reporting: This role reports to the CEO and Chief Development Officer.

Requirements

  • Founder/GM mindset: you want to own outcomes, not just tasks
  • Strong generalist horsepower: you can multitask, prioritize, and keep multiple initiatives moving simultaneously
  • Cross-functional leadership: you can work smoothly with Development, Construction, Tech, Ops, Marketing, Finance, and Franchise partners
  • High standards: you care about quality, fit/finish, customer experience, and operational consistency
  • Practical execution: you’re comfortable in the details and on job sites, and you can also zoom out to build systems

Nice To Haves

  • Building or scaling a services business, installation business, or hardware-enabled business
  • Leading field teams, project managers, or multi-site operations
  • Familiarity with construction/project delivery, AV/IT, experiential installs, hospitality, fitness, or home services
  • Vendor sourcing/negotiation, procurement, logistics, and inventory operations
  • P&L ownership, budgeting/forecasting, or GM-level responsibility
  • Experience helping launch a new brand, product line, or go-to-market motion
