About The Position

The Senior Vice President of Enterprise Growth at AmeriHealth Caritas is a key leadership role responsible for driving growth and expansion across all products within the organization. This position focuses on developing and implementing an enterprise growth strategy that ensures profitable and sustainable growth, while also defending and growing existing business. The SVP will work closely with executives to identify new growth opportunities, enhance market competitiveness, and build meaningful relationships that align with the company's mission.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive senior or executive management experience in managed care and/or government programs.
  • Experience in a multi-state, multi-product health plan organization (Medicaid, Medicare).
  • Proven track record of leading growth and innovation in a complex business environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal Medicaid law and state programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or related fields; graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all re-procurement activities to defend current business and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide a cohesive approach for re-procurement and growth activities, including market research and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with Market and Product Leaders to identify new opportunities and solutions that differentiate AmeriHealth Caritas.
  • Develop and maintain external relationships and partnerships to enhance market stature.
  • Utilize technology and data analytics to inform growth strategies and enhance competitiveness.
  • Establish performance metrics for annual membership and revenue growth, market share, and re-procurement rate.
  • Evaluate market trends to identify opportunities for competitiveness.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including RFPs, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Build cohesive teams and develop initiatives for workforce retention and talent development.
