There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The SVP of Engineering, Data Architecture, owns the creation of a roadmap for design, development and operationalization of a high-quality data strategy including data architecture, infrastructure, processes, data quality framework - driven by the current and strategic operational and analytical business information needs organization-wide, and is based on formal concepts, principles, and techniques. The SVP manages and evolves the current data strategy & architecture towards this vision. We have multiple independent and competing data architectures, including the central one for which this role will be responsible. As the company culture is entrepreneurial and client driven (agency life), there will likely always be multiple stacks and experiments going on. However, the SVP of Engineering, Data Architecture in IT will work with IT and the business leadership to determine what should be housed in the centralized data architecture and what services and connectors we should provide to users and technical solutions throughout the organization. The centralized architecture focuses on scalability, governance, compliance, standardization and preventing data disparity. The SVP fosters data as a critical business resource for growth. The SVP is empowered to assess current architecture and resources and redesign for and implement success according to their vision and overall data strategy. The SVP will be supported by the IT organization in collaborating with all arms of the business. We have assessed the current architecture and associated business process and functions, built initial tools to improve the current use cases and made considerable progress in preparing to be a tech & data leader in the media industry. The SVP will also be empowered to look at build vs. buy options and licensing for commodity type components and services. The IT organization has over the last few years successfully constructed a companywide IT infrastructure and data governance practice, and the company will empower this SVP to do the same with data architecture. The SVP will lead the design and development of a scalable, battle tested data architecture powered by a team empowered to follow best practices to make this happen. There will also be plenty of opportunities to make the best use of emerging technology including intersectional cloud computing, machine learning/AI and the data science practices already proven to work well for consumers and brands which are finally making their way into the media strategies of brands.
