About The Position
Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial real estate clients for St. Charles Bank & Trust. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to clients, building and strengthening customer relationships, and promoting Wintrust's products and services to meet customer needs. The SVP will be responsible for new business development through various referral sources and cold calling efforts, ensuring that the bank's offerings align with the evolving needs of the commercial real estate market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a variety of real estate transactions, including multifamily, retail, industrial, office, self-storage, land development, and commercial construction loans. This position requires a strong ability to maintain and manage a portfolio, focusing on revenue growth, fee income, deposits, and cross-selling services. The SVP will also participate in loan syndications and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial real estate sector, including investors and attorneys. In addition to managing existing relationships, the SVP will prepare, review, and present credit memos to senior management, ensuring that all credit requests adhere to established guidelines. The role also involves providing leadership and mentorship to less experienced commercial real estate lenders and portfolio managers, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
