Responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to Pennymac’s Human Resources Division. The SVP, Associate General Counsel HR will: Advise HR’s Compliance team on federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations and assist with review of policies and procedures. Support HR’s Recruiting team with employment-based immigration, contractor, background check and related issues. Advise HR’s Employee Relations team on issues relating to accommodations, health and safety, disciplinary actions, terminations, reductions in force, and severance agreements. Advise HR’s Compensation team on wage and hour issues, employee and executive compensation plans, including bonus, equity incentive, retirement, 401k, and employee benefits plans. Support and manage internal and governmental workplace investigations and supervise outside counsel on arbitration and litigation matters. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
