The Role As the SVP and Head of Enterprise Analytics Platform, you will be responsible for defining and executing the long-term vision and strategy for the firm's analytical technology stack, which supports enterprise-wide descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics at Fidelity Investments. This position is accountable for leading the strategic advancement of the analytics platform beyond its current capabilities, ensuring that it consistently delivers excellence in scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency across all Fidelity business units. Additionally, this role is tasked with overseeing both the development of future-state solutions and the effective management and governance of the existing Snowflake-on-AWS environment. This position reports directly to the SVP & CIO, Global Head of Enterprise Data and AI. The preferred locations for this role are Boston, MA; Westlake, TX; or Durham, NC, though flexibility will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Your responsibilities include: Platform Strategy & Vision : Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the entire Analytics Platform, driving adoption of modern, cloud-native data consumption patterns (e.g., Data Mesh principles, Data Fabric architecture, advanced data virtualization, etc.). Engineering Leadership : Direct the Platform Engineering and Data Engineering teams responsible for the ingestion pipelines, data modeling, data quality enforcement, and self-service provisioning capabilities. Technology Ownership : Full P&L and operational oversight for the Enterprise Analytics Platform Ecosystem, including workload management, security hardening, governance, and cost optimization at scale. Tooling & Enablement : Govern the selection, procurement, and standardization of Business Intelligence (BI) Tools and Engineering Solutions to ensure consistent user experience, performance, and compliance across consumer-facing and internal BI applications. Operational Excellence : Establish rigorous Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and run the Platform Operations function, ensuring 24/7 availability and rapid incident resolution for all mission-critical analytical workloads. The Team You will serve as a senior leader within the Enterprise Technology team, reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Data and AI function. In this role, you will collaborate with various Business Units, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, AI Technology, and AI/ML Solutions teams to drive meaningful impact and foster innovation across the $16+ trillion global financial ecosystem. Focus on enterprise technology platform capability delivery working with leaders and teams across the enterprise in a collaborative way to ensure digitization strategies are advanced. Much of the work completed must be done in conjunction with technology and operations teams in the businesses.
