AI & Data Platform Strategy Define and execute the long-term roadmap for enterprise AI and data platforms supporting analytics, machine learning, and AI applications. Lead the development of modern data platforms, AI infrastructure, and model deployment capabilities. Enable enterprise AI adoption through scalable infrastructure, tooling, and reusable platform services. Drive cloud-native platform modernization and engineering automation. Platform Engineering & Architecture Enablement Design and evolve scalable AI and data platform capabilities that support enterprise analytics and AI-driven products. Establish platform engineering standards that improve developer productivity, automation, and reliability. Ensure platform architectures support scalability, security, interoperability, and long-term sustainability. Partner with product and data teams to ensure platform capabilities align with evolving business needs. Engineering Delivery & Operational Excellence Lead engineering teams responsible for building and operating AI and data platforms. Establish modern engineering practices including DevOps, platform automation, and AI-assisted development. Improve engineering velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency across platform teams. Ensure platform availability, performance, and service reliability. Operational & Financial Stewardship Manage capital and operating budgets supporting AI and data platform capabilities. Optimize vendor relationships and technology partnerships. Establish measurable OKRs and executive reporting for platform performance and engineering outcomes. Drive cost discipline while enabling scalable growth and modernization.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in modern data platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale engineering environments.
8+ years of AI architecture or implementation including machine learning, generative AI, or agent-based systems.
5 years of semantic and ontology data architecture and implementation
2 years of AI first engineering and establishing SDLC principles with AI Augmentation and AI Assist
Demonstrated leadership of enterprise architecture and large-scale platform delivery.
Ability to work across a distributed team
Ability to travel up to 25%
Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing engineering organizations.
Experience operating within complex, regulated environments; healthcare preferred.
Strong executive presence with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
