In this role, you will perform original and amended filing functions as assigned. Meets both quality and production standards established for this level. Respond to Agency, Payroll Center and Client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor established turnaround guidelines.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of research and filing procedures and resources.
• Thorough knowledge of the automated tax system.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Meets deadlines with accuracy.
• Organizational skills are a must.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma required.
• At least 4 quarter ends of multi-jurisdiction filing experience.
• Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree is great but not required.
• Experience noted above.

Responsibilities

• File/amend tax returns timely in accordance with Agency, Region and Client requirements.
• Research client, agency and payroll center inquiries and respond in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
• Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist in training of new employees and procedures.
• Develops and updates current filing/research records and procedure.
• Telephone contact with internal and external areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
