Job Summary St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School is seeking a Suzuki Violin Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing violin instruction using the Suzuki Method while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Requirements
- Training and certification in the Suzuki Method preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field preferred
- Experience teaching violin to children
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and school staff
- Commitment to supporting Catholic education
Responsibilities
- Provide violin instruction to students using the Suzuki Method
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons
- Work with students individually and/or in small groups
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families
- Prepare students for performances and school events as applicable
- Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as required
