The position involves directing an instrument-specific elementary music program that incorporates Suzuki's philosophy and teaching techniques. The role requires collaboration with secondary ensemble directors and the overall program of instrumental music for the district. The individual will provide students with opportunities to participate in extracurricular music activities while ensuring compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and district requirements. The position also includes planning activities aimed at achieving district, region, and state recognition, as well as addressing the physical and instructional needs of Suzuki students. Applications are accepted for instruction in violin, viola, cello, bass, or flute.
