As the Sustaining Engineer Intern, you will assist the engineering team in successfully achieving continuous improvement efforts. This internship offers a variety of opportunities that can vary from implementing and documenting design improvements, improving quality and performance of products and supporting customer requirements on product specifications.

Requirements

  • Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and preferably focused on mechanical engineering or other related Engineering field
  • Candidates must have completed their second year of engineering studies
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
  • Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with technical drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
  • Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using CAD programs and preferably Creo Parametric

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update technical documentation, including product specifications, reports, and submittals, to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information
  • Evaluate product issues and improvements to help develop engineering change requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in addition to engineering, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer/sales support, to complete projects
  • Learn products to assist in product change reviews
  • Lead other projects as assigned or proposed by you
