About The Position
The Sustainability Specialist position is responsible for coordinating sustainability-related activities and implementing policies within the Department of Sustainability. Reporting to the Deputy Director and Director, this role focuses on sustainability best practices in building operations, alternative fuels for the county fleet, utility data monitoring and reporting, energy efficiency, and renewable energy deployment. This position is one of two Sustainability Specialists in the department.
