About The Position

Are you passionate about developing robust internal carbon measurement methodologies and ensuring accurate sustainability reporting? Do you have expertise in third-party assurance processes for environmental data? The AWS Sustainability Tech Products Team is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Specialist to lead the development and implementation of advanced carbon measurement and reporting solutions. This role is crucial in supporting AWS's progress towards Amazon's net zero carbon goal through precise quantification and verification of our environmental impact. The AWS Infrastructure Sustainability Tech organization builds solutions to integrate environmental sustainability data across AWS infrastructure and operations to support AWS progress towards Amazon's net zero carbon goal. The AWS Sustainability Tech Sustainability Specialist will partner with product managers, engineers, scientists, and business leaders to develop solutions for measurement, accounting, and assurance. This role will directly impact the product feature roadmap of the AWS Customer Carbon Footprint Tool. The candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders from across AWS Infrastructure teams to develop sustainability datasets and product offerings aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
