About The Position

Available Position: Sustainability Project Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX JOB DUTIES: Coordinate with senior leadership and marketing to develop sustainability service offerings. Develop carbon footprints, sustainability plans, and carbon reduction plans. Manage data collection and the completion of landfill sustainability models. Coordinate and assist with the development of related marketing materials. Manage and develop submittals for client bids on sustainability services. Develop proposals, scope of works, and project budget estimations. Respond to client questions and needs. Coordinate meetings with current and prospective clients and respond to client questions and needs. Independently conduct client site visits to complete environmental or sustainability projects. Create presentations for external conferences and internal employee engagement on landfill carbon footprints, emissions, sustainability, the circular economy, and solid waste management. Coordinate and engage internally with leadership and other offices to educate employees on sustainability, carbon, and the circular economy. Develop Weaver Consultants Group’s network of sustainability clients via engagement and involvement at national conferences, exhibitions, and associations. Assist and help manage a team of engineers with air permitting and compliance. Assist in the completion of GHG calculations for landfills. Research current sustainability frameworks. Update carbon footprints to reflect updated emission factors and methods. Develop unique carbon footprints and scorecards using various tools, such as Microsoft Excel and/or Powerbi. Occasional travel to client sites and national conferences is required as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or its foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years in field of environmental analysis or sustainability coordination, OR Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in field of environmental analysis or sustainability coordination. SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: knowledge of sustainability frameworks (GRI and SASB); background in private and public sector projects; conducting research, abstract writing, and creating presentations in sustainability, the circular economy and solid waste; independently conducting client site visits to complete environmental or sustainability projects; ability to develop carbon footprints and examining scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions; MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
