Job Description Project: End-of-Life (EOL) Manual for 2x-127 Lead the development of a comprehensive EOL Manual as part of the Customer Documentation for one platform), including guidelines on decommissioning, deinstallation and EOL management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, projects, and sustainability, to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with internal standards. Map the dismantling processes, materials and components involved, and identify recycling, reuse, or disposal pathways or recommendations. Alternate Assignments (select based on interest and effort availability): Regulatory support: Lead interpretation of one regulatory requirement and develop process to respond to regulation ask within the business Design for Sustainability: Work with product/design teams to propose a new or improved sustainability requirement for review by the Chief Engineer. Supply Chain Regulatory Database: Collaborate with sourcing and compliance teams to compile a regulatory database relevant to supply chain operations. Manufacturing Lean Support: Participate in and support two Kaizen events at factories or supplier locations. Fleet Electrification Business Case: Lead the development of a business case for fleet electrification within the organization (analyze current fleet data, assess emission reduction potential, review cost implications, and model ROI scenarios) Wind Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Quantification: Support data gathering and calculation of Scope 3 emissions for 2025 Wind activities; coordinate with relevant teams to collect and analyze upstream and downstream indirect emissions.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or sustainability.
  • Minimum of 4.0 out of 5.0 GPA.
