About The Position

Reporting to the Sustainability Business Development team, the Sustainability Business Development Intern will play a key role in advancing our sustainability business development initiatives by conducting research, creating technical content, and engaging with cross-functional teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in sustainability solutions and contribute to our mission of helping customers achieve their sustainability goals. This role is based in Richmond, VA .

Requirements

• You are a rising college senior pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering, with a strong interest in sustainability driven by advanced process technology
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Basic technical understanding of heat transfer, separations, and fluid‑handling equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A curious, proactive mindset with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.
• A positive, customer‑focused attitude and comfort engaging with people across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand the sustainability needs and priorities of our customer base.
• Develop technical sustainability-based content that effectively communicates our sustainability story and product value.
• Support ad hoc projects across the team, contributing insights, analysis, and problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand standards and messaging.
• Work closely with Business Unit Directors and their teams on a variety of sustainability focused business initiatives.
