About The Position

We are seeking a Server to join our team at Mai Sushi Tapas & Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, particularly Sushi and Tapas, and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in serving or bartending
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use any credit card processing machines, cash register, and touch screen monitors
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Understanding of food handling and safety regulations
• Knowledge of Sushi, Japanese Beers/Wine, and Sake

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers upon arrival at the restaurant
• Interacting with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations
• Memorizing the food menu and Beer/Wine and Sake list
• Maintaining table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
• Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables
• Handling cash and credit transactions accurately
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons
