Requirements

  • A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
  • 1+ years of previous line cook experience preferred, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine.
  • Proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight as required in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes, including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped efficiently to meet service demands.
  • Maintain a clean,anized, and sanitary workstation, following all food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, amodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving supplies as needed.
