About The Position

To prepare sushi with precision and creativity. Responsible for ensuring high quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
  • Strong attention to details and commitment to food quality and presentation.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sushi cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares sushi according to the recipes and Hilton Standards.
  • Handles and prepares raw fish and other seafood with attention to freshness and quality.
  • Creates visually appealing and delicious rolls for our guest while being innovated and staying up to the latest trends.
  • Ensures all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Interacts with customers, answers questions about the menu, and provides recommendations.
  • Works collaboratively with the staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
