About The Position

As a Sushi Cook at Tekka Bar, you will be responsible preparing sushi and other Japanese dishes. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Requirements

Is 18+ years of age
Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
1+ Years of prior relevant sushi experience

Responsibilities

Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes
Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation
Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities
Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels
Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
Follow recipes according to Chef specifications
Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected
Assist with pantry and preparation areas
