About The Position

The Sushi Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for fresh ingredients and excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Non-slip shoes are required for safety (not provided).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation is a must

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi items including rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of fish and other ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station at all times.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with prep work such as cutting fish, vegetables, and rice preparation.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment w hile maintaining quality and presentation.
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers (if applicable).
• Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and knife skills.
