DNV USA, Inc. seeks a Surveyor (multiple openings) to work at our office in Katy, Texas. The position involves working on major vessel conversions, alterations, or any technical matters involving all types of vessels. Responsibilities include attending vessels for surveys, ensuring compliance with organizational rules and quality requirements, conducting on-site surveys during dry-docking and in-service, and supporting other class activities as necessary. The role requires maintaining client confidentiality and communicating important information to line management. A customer-oriented focus is essential, promoting DNV and acting as a technical resource for customers. The position also involves supporting technical service management to local clients and may require additional responsibilities as needed. This position requires 20% domestic and 5% international travel, with the possibility of periodic work from home as projects permit within a reasonable commuting distance of the Katy, TX office.
