About The Position

The Ambulatory Care Surveyor - RN is responsible for surveying ambulatory organizations across the United States, focusing on compliance with the Joint Commission's Ambulatory Programs. This role involves engaging with healthcare staff to assess standards-based issues, preparing management reports that link deficiencies to organizational risks, and effectively communicating findings to leadership. The position requires extensive travel and participation in various Joint Commission activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a Master's degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Current professional licensure in a related discipline at the time of hire.
• At least 5 years of experience in an ambulatory care setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience and 2 years in management or quality improvement.
• Current knowledge of The Joint Commission accreditation process is required.
• ASC clinical experience with orthopedic, pain management, and/or endoscopy preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) or Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHC).
• Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.
