As a Project Layout Technician – Survey, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality construction projects. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, leverage cutting-edge GPS and surveying technology, and ensure projects are executed safely and accurately, every time.

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen, background check, Fit for Work physical).
Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or GED.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in construction or surveying is a plus but not required—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential!

Responsibilities

Champion a safe work environment by consistently following all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Operate, adjust, and maintain advanced GPS equipment, rovers, and related instruments for precise level setting and grade adjustments.
Calculate and document cross sections of completed work for project assessment and payment review.
Interpret and implement construction plans to support project preparation and execution.
Assist with traffic control set-up, including moving and dismantling signs, barricades, and cones.
Support field activities such as driving stakes, clearing brush, and handling materials and tools.
Contribute flexibly as a team player, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
