About The Position

Wade Trim is seeking a Survey Summer Intern for our Survey group in our Bay City office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in surveying, geographic information systems, civil and/or environmental engineering and a valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, punctual, reliable, very organized and have excellent communication skills. Typical responsibilities include: Assist in field activities including surveying operations within active roadways and construction sites. Potential work may include construction staking, topographic mapping, structure inventory, wetland delineation mapping Assist in the preparation of preliminary project plans, cost estimates and evaluate quantities Conduct on-site inspections as needed Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geographic information systems, civil and/or environmental engineering.
• Valid Driver’s License
