The Survey Statistician position at the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey Office is a critical role that involves planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale surveys and projects. This position is located at the Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland, which is conveniently accessible via the Metro Rail Green Line. The Survey Statistician will be responsible for monitoring the status of various activities and ensuring that they align with the objectives of the survey projects. This role requires a high level of collaboration with multiple stakeholders, necessitating strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences. As a subject matter expert, the Survey Statistician will provide technical guidance and support for various operations related to large-scale surveys. Once the renovations are complete, the employee will return to the office and may have the opportunity to telework up to eight days per pay period, subject to supervisor approval.
