Sandis is seeking a Survey Runner to join their team in Campbell, CA. This role is ideal for an organized individual with good time management skills who is looking to start a career in land surveying. Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail orientated and able to multitask
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to walk, sit, or stand throughout the day
  • Ability to stand and/or drive up to 12 hours per day

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years in the Construction Industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with purchasing, scheduling services, and maintenance of vehicle fleet, survey equipment and assets
  • Coordinate with survey field crews on issues relating to supplies, equipment and vehicle needs
  • Assist with all survey assets, equipment, and leases using asset tracking system
  • Help update and maintain company asset tracking system and tools
  • Perform inspections of assets including fleet
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate documents including warranties, schedule maintenance records, terms and conditions of leased equipment
  • Ordering consumables for the field crew
  • Attend monthly field safety meetings
  • Maintain the equipment storage areas
  • Set up equipment and supply flag stakes and chasers
  • Assist with traffic control for the field crew
