About The Position

This position involves assisting skilled craft workers in their assigned duties and potentially working in other crafts as directed by project supervision. The Survey Rodman must be capable of taking instruction from a higher skilled worker or foreman. Key aspects of the role include applying effective math skills, actively working to eliminate waste in processes, and prioritizing safety by understanding hazards and seeking clarification when unsure. The individual is expected to learn and proficiently use work-related tools and equipment, continuously seek opportunities for improvement, maintain positive relationships with the crew, and consistently deliver high-quality work safely and productively. Providing feedback to ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, equipment, and information is also a responsibility.

Requirements

• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effective Math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
