About The Position

Sambatek, LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. We serve public and private clients throughout the country with office locations in Minnesota, Texas, and North Carolina. We embrace challenging projects and work hard to help our clients find success. We’re looking for a Survey Project Manager to both manage survey projects and survey tasks, as well as to perform and direct survey work as a licensed professional responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the work. This role will work with both private and public clients to provide ALTA surveys, right-of-way plats, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys. Work Location: In office with hybrid remote work option Expected Compensation Range: $75,000 - $135,000 annually (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications) Pay Rate Type: Salary

Requirements

  • AS or BS accredited degree
  • Professional Land Surveyor license in MN
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong task management and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficient in surveying equipment and software

Responsibilities

  • Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of survey projects
  • Direct and perform survey work to a high level of quality
  • Perform quality reviews of work
  • Collaborate within a team setting to successfully deliver multiple simultaneous projects at different stages of completion
  • Estimate effort for scope of services and proactively track and inform changes to scope
  • Discuss projects and pursuits directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and support business development
