About The Position

The Wooten Company’s Raleigh, NC office is seeking a team-focused Survey Crew Party Chief who will work closely with the Geomatics Practice Team. Working in a team environment, this position organizes and manages field survey activities collecting data for mapping and staking for construction. Requirements

Experience accurately calculating and recording field data.
Experience performing topographical surveys, as-built surveys, ALTA surveys, property surveys and construction staking.
Experience maintaining and operating instruments and measuring devices needed to complete different types of survey work assignments. Experience with Trimble GNSS receivers and robotic total stations is a plus.
Experience with managing survey schedule and subcontractors.
Experience mentoring and training survey field assistants.
Associate’s degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or relative field or comparable related experience.
Comprehensive grasp of survey field data processing.
Fundamental understanding of GNSS technology.
Must have 6+ years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Trimble GNSS receivers and robotic total stations is a plus.
