Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to maintain required certifications.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
Excellent math skills

Leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

Supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.
Mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
Operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment.
Perform survey calculations in the field.
Interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
Create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
Follow instructions
Lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
