We are seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional leadership skills to manage the Mapping Department of a growing Survey Division.

Requirements

• California Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or a clear path to licensure.
• Highly skilled in survey mapping with the ability to QA/QC the work of subordinates.
• Excellent professional, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A minimum of five years of office experience and highly skilled in the operation of AutoCADD Civil 3D.
• Experience in construction staking, record map boundary calculations, and accurate, detailed field note preparation.
• Experience in the preparation of plats and legal descriptions, subdivision maps, parcel maps, records of survey, corner records, ALTA Surveys, and topographic exhibits.
• Proven skills as a team player with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and procedures as they are initiated.
• Ability to supervise and train.
• Valid California driver’s license and acceptable DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of junior and senior Survey Analysts.
• QA/AC all field work deliverables.
• Hire and train office survey staff as necessary.
• Coordinate with field survey staff for completion of deliverables.
