As a member of our team, you will assist the Survey Crew Chief with all day-to-day operations of a two-person or three-person survey crew for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys for a wide variety of public and private projects.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• Pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and able to follow multiple step directions
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation/Geopak

Responsibilities

• Assist the Survey Crew Chief in attaining thorough and accurate data collection
• Set stakes for construction surveys
• Operate GPS and robotic Total Station
• Check calculations on cut sheets
• Run and reduce notes for level loops
• Set-up, calibrate, use and maintain survey field equipment
• Keep the survey vehicle clean and organized
• Travel, including overnight stays, is sometimes required.
