Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED, Pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and able to follow multiple step directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation/Geopak.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Survey Crew Chief with all day to day operations of a two-person or three-person survey crew for boundary, topographic and construction surveys for a wide variety of public and private projects.
• Assist Survey Crew Chief in attaining thorough and accurate data collection.
• Set stakes for construction surveys.
• Operate GPS and robotic Total Station.
• Check calculations on cut sheets.
• Run and reduce notes for level loops.
• Set-up, calibrate, use and maintain survey field equipment.
• Keep the survey vehicle clean and organized.
• Travel, including overnight stays, is sometimes required.
