About The Position

The Survey Instrument Repair Technician at Duncan-Parnell Inc. is responsible for providing high-quality service on optical and GNSS equipment, including diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, and cleaning. Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge of electronics and/or survey equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in land surveying or in the construction industry preferred.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
• Experience and proficiency in Windows 10 Operating Systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal accountability in the workplace.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, upgrading, and cleaning of optical and GNSS equipment.
• Create and process service work orders for incoming repairs.
• Collaborate with the Regional Service Manager to stay current on updated training and authorizations.
• Provide technical support to end customers.
• Ensure work areas are neat and maintained.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
