About The Position
Gaskins + LeCraw is an enhanced, full-service company, offering survey, planning, and engineering capabilities across the Southeast. We are currently looking for a Survey Field Crew Chief / Survey Party Chief to join our Newnan office. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, adaptable, and solution-oriented individual who can follow instructions while also thinking independently. This position is crucial for managing field surveying work and ensuring that the crew delivers quality and timely work products. As the Survey Field Crew Chief / Survey Party Chief, you will lead a team of crew members in performing various surveying tasks, including ALTA, topographic, boundary, construction stakeouts, horizontal/vertical control, utility as-builts, and GPS work. You will be responsible for managing the field surveying work and will utilize data collectors, conventional notes, and sketches to complete your tasks. Proficiency in operating total stations and robotic instruments is essential for this role. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of field survey experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Party Chief or Junior Party Chief. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record for the past three years. Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout is also necessary.
