About The Position
This position is accountable for the production of digital terrain models (DTM) for use by district or consultant design engineers on all highway facility improvement projects; surveying data for completeness and accuracy of line coding, point coding, and point numbering using the computer aided design and drafting (CADD) work station with GEOPAK and MicroStation; reviewing the finished plan sheets for accuracy of the listed horizontal and vertical control information; and providing GEOPAK and MicroStation training to CADD operators, survey crews, and consultant personnel in the use of district point codes, line codes, and point numbering schemes.
