Job Description Follow all health, safely, and environmental requirements; Perform cleanup duties; Perform material handling and storage duties; Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools; Use and care of craft specific tools and equipment; Knowledge and application of craft related mathematics; Knowledge and use of safety standards and best safety practices relevant to rigging, Inspection of rigging equipment and hardware; Knowledge and application of common hitches, Emergency stop signal, Basic crane hand signals, Knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and use of rigging equipment relevant to craft specific tasks; Leads, supervises, and is responsible for work of survey party. Must be proficient in Robotic Total Stations/Trimble.; Must be able to lead survey crew in laying out bridges, retaining walls, pavement grades, earthwork grades, and underground utilities/appurtenances. ; Survey party chief provides lead direction to an assigned filed survey crew; plans, assigns, directs and reviews the daily activities of a field survey crew in conducting preliminary, location, construction, property, precise, topographic, or other engineering surveys.; Remains current on all surveying practices, guidelines and best practices.; Detailed not keeping, equipment care, and management of fields assistants.; Clear understanding of functional operation, adjustment and use of total station, GPS, theodolites, lasers, transits, tapes, range poles, rods.; Surveying boundary, topographic surveying, construction survey and staking. Uses Trimble equipment and Robotic Total Station to take pictures of areas for survey; uses survey procedures with basic electronic survey data processing procedures.; Ability to use all survey equipment and techniques. ; Laying out curves, determination of volumes, mapping and methods of calculations employed in leveling; practices and procedures within a particular field.; All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
