About the DDS Companies: The DDS Companies is a reputable and dynamic organization that specializes in providing comprehensive infrastructure construction and engineering solutions. With a commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction, we consistently deliver successful projects across various industries. The Crew Chief will be primarily responsible for performing assignments related to boundary, topographic, right of way and existing condition surveys as well as leading other junior teammates. This will include working with internal and external clients and can include a mix of field and office duties in support of these projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior leadership experience.
  • Proficient with the latest survey technologies, robotic total stations, base/rover & network GPS units.
  • Must be familiar with boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.
  • Knowledge of land surveying practices, principles, and techniques.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with AutoCAD for drafting and computations.
  • Knowledge of Carlson SurvCE.
  • Experience working on land development projects or in the natural gas industry.
  • Ability and desire to become a licensed Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) and/or obtain your Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in at least one of the following states: NY, PA, or MA.
