About The Position

The Survey Coordinator Sr. will use subject matter expertise to initiate agreements, prepare job scopes and respond to requests for project proposals. This role will interpret business challenges and recommend practices to improve processes and standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Basic knowledge of As built drawings, piping, mechanical, structural, instrumentation and electrical
  • Proficiency in Surveying Principles, GPS, Mapping, GIS, Civil alignments and Survey Calculations

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates survey functions with internal and external business partners to ensure compliance with company and industry standards and government codes, and development of practical and cost-effective designs
  • Projects cost analysis and estimates
  • Interprets applicable states' jurisdictional minimum technical standards for property conveyance and condemnation; responsible for securing professional certifications
  • Serves as subject matter specialist of land survey policy, procedures and standards
  • Serves as project management SME; supervises land survey contractors and communicates project status to management customers
  • Identifies and proactively resolves disputes and claims
  • Provides on the ground preliminary survey work
  • Leads teams and mentors others
  • Other duties as assigned
