About The Position

As a Survey CAD Technician at JBPro, you will be primarily responsible for processing field data and CAD drafting under the direction of the Director of Surveying. You will produce boundary, topographic, and control surveys, as well as handle construction stakeout for residential and commercial developments. Additionally, you will frequently collaborate with the engineering department on various projects, ensuring seamless integration of survey data into project designs. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with survey industry standards and procedures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Civil 3D preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with staff, clients, sub-consultants, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
Interpret field crew notes to analyze and process survey data accurately.
Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D to produce detailed surveys, maps, plats, sketches, and legal descriptions.
Review projects to ensure they meet technical, project, budgetary, and timeline constraints.
Perform deed analysis and prepare working sketches for various projects.
Reading, understanding, and drawing legal descriptions for easements and deeds to ensure accurate project documentation.
Provide quality control and assurance on all survey deliverables, maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
