About The Position

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a U.S. citizen. Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) seeks a Survey Analyst I to support the CDC’s National Authority for Containment of Poliovirus (NAC). While classified as Survey Analyst I under the contract labor category, this position requires strong data management and analytical skills to carry out survey operations, quality assurance, and reporting tasks. The role is critical in ensuring NAC surveys are accurate, timely, and aligned with CDC requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in survey administration, data management, or analysis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with REDCap, SQL, Access, or equivalent database tools.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or SPSS).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting CDC or federally funded public health programs.
  • Familiarity with biosafety, laboratory survey processes, or containment programs.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

  • Support the full NAC survey lifecycle: outreach, survey distribution, technical assistance, close-out, and archival.
  • Manage data capture and processing using REDCap and related systems.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, including validation of survey responses and system testing.
  • Assist in the design, maintenance, and testing of databases to ensure survey data integrity.
  • Perform data analysis and statistical reporting, generating insights for CDC leadership.
  • Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Maintain survey documentation, repositories, and SOPs to ensure audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Survey Analyst II, data analysts, and health communications staff.
