About The Position

The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, and maintenance of the digital and analog based Surveillance Systems.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete all required digital training in a satisfactory manner.
  • Prepare and submit detailed written reports of work completed on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Prepare, or assist in preparing, written training materials for other Surveillance personnel to improve operational efficiency and decrease system or component downtime.
  • Project management skills: In conjunction with the Director of Surveillance, prepare project scopes and oversee projects from start to finish in an acceptable manner.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and a high degree of personal initiative.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of related experience
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays, and the potential for emergency call-back for critical issues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, as a condition of employment, a Colorado Division of Gaming Support License.

Nice To Haves

  • Administrator level knowledge of the Avigilon ACC7 system.
  • Two (2) years of experience installing, repairing, programming, and maintaining a Surveillance system.
  • Two (2) years of Surveillance digital enterprise experience, electronic repair experience within a casino
  • Experience working with multiple systems – Honeywell & Avigilon
  • Knowledgeable of closed network CCTV Systems and associated components.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and maintain analog, IP camera types.
  • Implement necessary changes to the approved system to meet Colorado Division of Gaming & company requirements.
  • Train Surveillance Staff on the current system operation and all new system features.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Surveillance, ensure Surveillance projects are managed and completed with no interruptions to daily operation.
  • Pull multiple cable types on property.
  • Maintain required knowledge to complete job functions and requirements in a satisfactory manner.
  • Attendance and completion of company, corporate and vendor related classes to include online classes.
  • Attendance of seminars involving project management, fiber optics, networking, continued digital enterprise training and any other area to complete job function.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
