About The Position

The Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Surveillance department, ensuring compliance with gaming laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing investigations into potentially illegal activities, and maintaining relationships with gaming regulators and law enforcement. The supervisor also plays a key role in staff development and training, ensuring the integrity of operations and safeguarding company assets.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum one year of casino Surveillance experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of casino operations, games, cheating, and embezzlement scams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems and database software.
  • Advanced computer knowledge, proficient in Microsoft applications including email and report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Supervise staff and manage daily operations of the Surveillance department.
  • Support and manage operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives.
  • Ensure customer service standards are followed and address issues as they arise.
  • Enforce gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Surveillance Department.
  • Conduct sensitive investigations into potentially illegal or inappropriate activities.
  • Participate in the hiring process and make staffing recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, internal control, and company policies and procedures.
  • Examine and analyze physical property and processes for compliance enforcement.
  • Serve as liaison with gaming regulators and law enforcement in the absence of the Surveillance Manager or Director.
  • Prepare reports relating to any incidents reported.
  • Manage attendance and time records for staff.
